Kato is a seasoned artist and graphic designer, amassing over a decade of experience in Kelowna, BC, Canada, and three decades in the design industry. Her insatiable thirst for knowledge drives her to embrace challenges and seek exciting new opportunities.
During the shared residency, Kato presents an opportunity for artists to benefit from her expertise while residing on-site. Enjoy personalized introductions to prestigious galleries, and comprehensive insights into essential art supplies and tools. Tailoring the experience to your specific needs is of utmost importance, and Kato is more than willing to discuss and accommodate your preferences.

Climate
San Miguel de Allende, situated in the central highlands of Mexico, benefits from a climate characterized by an impressive number of sunny days, totaling over 320 days annually, and a moderate amount of rainfall. Notably, approximately 75% of the rainfall occurs during the rainy season spanning from June to September. As for seasonal temperature variations, spring stands out as the warmest period, with average high temperatures ranging from 28°C / 84°F in March to a balmy 31°C / 88°F in May.
Subsequently, during the fall and winter months, average high temperatures remain at a comfortable 20°C / 70°F, while the nights experience a drop to the low 10°C / 50°F. December and January emerge as the two coolest months, where an identical average high temperature of 23°C / 73°F and a low of 6°C / 43°F are observed. Notably, the period from November through April is marked by scant precipitation, rendering it an ideal time to embrace outdoor activities and savor the charm of the city.
Getting Around
Transportation options in the vicinity are abundant, rendering the need for a personal vehicle unnecessary.
